About

Teri Walsh Art

My artistic practice embraces a wide range of media (2D and 3D) investigating the intrinsic structure of natural and man-made objects based on my own photographs, using digital and 35mm black and white film. Printmaking, and screen printing in particular, has in recent years become a major focus (inspired by working in the Volcanic Editions’ studio run by Ian Brown in Brighton).

Whilst addressing many subjects (political, serious, purely pictorial etc.) I tend to develop ongoing bodies of work (‘projects’) covering recurrent themes, including: The Crow & Birdland; Trees & Roots; Lines; and Skyscapes.

Within these projects works are numbered in a way that is purely sequential (often being a Roman numeral followed by an Arabic one). Please note that where dimensions are shown these are in centimetres high x centimetres wide x centimetres deep.

My background is that I have a lifelong interest in art and I’ve always designed, built, decorated and made stuff, but didn’t have any formal art education until my mid 50s. I started by learning to draw and did courses in a variety of 2D and 3D techniques culminating in going to the University of Wolverhampton School of Art at the age of 60.

My work has been shown in various solo and group shows and has been selected by juries and curators for events such as Print International, Wrexham (2019 and 2021) and the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair in London (2023, 2024 and 2025).

In August 2024 a selection of my Skyscape multiscreen monoprints were shown in The blackShed Gallery, Robertsbridge, East Sussex in a one woman show called Singular Skies.  Since that time I have taken part in various Members’ Shows at the Hastings Arts Forum, St Leonards-on-Sea and two Skyscapes have been included in the Curated section of the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair (“the Woolwich”) in 2024 and 2025. Also in 2025 one Skyscape was exhibited in the PMC show at the Oxo Gallery.

Most of my work is for sale. Any enquiries regarding price, availability etc. should be sent via the contact page. I am also a poet (under the name of Teri O’Neal). See Poetry.
